playonlinux/missing file?

Very new to this.. x86 64 10.10Lucid Ubuntu
Have been trying to install IE7 on wine so i can use the` Yola` webuild facility correctly, (will not upload any files with 10.10lucid, Yola have drawn a blank with my problem and told me hopefully can support in the future).

 I have tried re installing wine and playonlinux. (currently have deleted IE7, (download from winehq)

When i try to navigate to Yola on IE7 , i just get a flash of the website then a blank page, i could Google search fine on it though, but most other pages flash up then disappear. I have no

 I am only trying to open a single tab at a time. I am getting this error message when starting up playonlinux;

Would it be better to install windows xp from a coa windows disc, into wine.

Any help would be appreciated;)

   Try using Wine four in Synaptic.

Using chromium web browser, i can see the upload button (on Yola) the best for a fraction of a second before it disappears. Still no luck with wine, have tried a different version, but as above cant find wine 4 in my syaptic package folder.

Firstly, if the website builder needs ie7 is it going to be producing good websites?
Does it not support any other browsers?

You will need to upload the screenshot somewhere if you want us to see it.
Are you using 10.10 Maverick or 10.04 Lucid? There is no 10.10 Lucid :D

What version of wine are you using?
Run
wine --version
from the terminal

Firstly you could try just
wine iexplore (which pretends to be IE) but uses the same renderer as Firefox

Do you have the wine ppa added? (https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-wine/+archive/ppa)

You could also try the winetricks ie7 verb (http://wiki.winehq.org/winetricks)
If you have the ppa added you can install winetricks from synaptic, otherwise you need to follow the instructions at the link.

10.10 Maverick/Wine1.3.7
Have reinstalled all(including missing file), and playonlinux seems to be opertaing properly, i have no 'wine' tab in the main menu though.
iexplore,Just flashes Yola website then goes to about:blank.

 Wine ie7 cant edit web builder..

ah well, thanks for help with fixing playonlinux, missing file issue.

Guess im going to have to learn to use komposer and bluefish in the 1o minutes spare time i have a day;D
