installing a leapfrog game system cd and it wont autorun

Asked by Christopher R. Hoercher

I am trying to download Leapfrog gaming system software to my computer. When I install disc in the cd driver it should autorun and it will not. I try opening manually and it gives an error of "end-of-central directory signature not found". Is there a driver for this, to read .exe files or am I just an idiot?

If you install wine you can right click the install binary and open it with wine. It MAY work. Wine is a best effort attempt. Some apps work and some apps don't

I have installed wine and the next problem I am encountering is that the "install file" of the autorun disc is "not marked as executable" does this mean I am out of luck or can I adjust this through the administrative portion of the system?

use:

wine /path/to/filename.exe

instead

Can you help with this problem?
