Installing in Wine.

I need a simple step by step instruction on low to download a windows program into Wine and get to work. I'm really really stupid (I guess)?

If you have not installed wine you can install it by the fallow:
go to Applications --> Ubuntu Software Center
and in the search dialog write Wine and install it

then go to .exe file right click it chose Properties after that click Permissions and click the check box next to Execute

than click close
and double click you .exe file

sudo apt-get install wine

You can then right click on the install binary and open it with wine. Make sure you check the appdb for compatibility
