Ubuntu and Windows are very different operating systems, so you cannot simply run a program for one on the other. However, in some cases, you may be able to use WINE to run Windows programs in Ubuntu.
You can read all about WINE at its website:
http://www.winehq.org/
and install it from the Ubuntu Software Centre (in the Applications menu).

Picture It! files are generally incompatible with other editors (even Microsoft ones). If you want to edit those images in another editing program, such as the GIMP, you'll first have to save them in a more widely understood format, e.g., BMP, TIFF, GIF, PNG, JPEG, or SVG.

Can you help with this problem?
