install program in Wine, via GUI

Asked by Pepe

I am trying for the second time. Maybe there is no answer to the problem. I want to install Print Shop (Windows program) into Wine, but terminal is beyond my mental powers. I am accustomed to GUI, as are billions of others out there. I have received no solutions. One brilliant person suggested "read the manual, dummy." How is that for a solution? Marvelous!

I will repeat. Is there anyway to install Print Shop into Wine without going through all that terminal business? Or is there another emulator out there that I can use instead. Thank You.

I only have two other programs to install in Wine if I can do it GUI. I just have to learn one now. Meanwhile, I do all my blogs using Ubuntu and all my email is handled on ubuntu also. I am gradually learning Gimp to replace my Photoshop Elements but that will proeed slowly. Also Pagemaker will eventually go, but it took me ten years to learn that.

If I can set them up in Wine or another emulator, I can then use my computer as 100% ubuntu. But there are too many brilliant minds out there that simply do not understand what I am doing. Sorry, but I can explain if any would like to really know.

I tried both Print Shop and PhotoShop Elements and get the same thing.

The file '/media/Elements/Autoplay.exe' is not marked as executable. If this was downloaded or copied form an untrusted source, it may be dangerous to run. For more details, read about the executable bit.

Something about not trusted. I use them both in Windows for ages. Is there another emulator that I could use. Maybe it would work. Thanks
