how install windows game on linux

i have a pc game that i would like to install. i have linux on my computer and need to know how to install the cd.

Usually you can first install the wine package using Applications→Ubuntu Software Center and then install the game...

Firstly, search on Google if your game works under Wine. http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=category&sAction=view&iId=2&sTitle=Browse+Applications
If it doesn't, it exists a not free version of Wine, which support more games (this not free version release after some times the fixes to free version). http://www.codeweavers.com/compatibility/browse/rank/
It exists also http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cedega , but I know nothing about it.

you can even try play on linux, but the game it supported is limited
ubuntu software centre,playonlinux
