Can I prevent core dump when there is no display.

Asked by Zebulon

I have an application running in an Ubuntu 14.04 Digital Ocean cloud server. The first browser session is buggy but all subsequent sessions are fine.

I want to load the first session in a cloud server browser so no user will have a bad experience. I don't want to see the display. I just want the browser to stop crashing. The message says " Aborted (core dumped)". Is there a flag that would prevent the crash. If not, can you tell me how I might modify the code, or suggest some other way to keep a blind http session alive in my server.
