Wrong address for new document in Google Docs

Asked by Dan Woodson

The address saved by the web app for Google Docs is the one currently in the url bar when I selected to allow/install the web app the first time, including the random string of characters which make that document unique. This means that when the web app is launched later, I see a message that says the document cannot be found. I would expect to see a new document, opened for editing. This happened in Chrome in 12.04 when I installed the web apps preview, and just now in Firefox, since I've upgraded to 12.10. I'm using Gnome-Shell as a Desktop/Window manager.

How can I fix this?

Gnome shell is only a shell. It uses Mutter as the window manager and Gnome as the desktop :)

I suggest you report a bug
