chunk_parse_cmds.tbl required to run vsdump

Asked by dsellinger

Running vsdump only reports error "The command table file can't be opened!"
I assume this is referring to
 {quote from http://www.gnome.ru/fileformats/stencils.html}
"I recomend vsdump to extract metafiles. It's quite easy: download and compile sources, put vsdump executable and chunk_parse_cmds.tbl in the same directory. Run it as 'vsdump dump your_vss_file [directory_where_to_dump]'."
Where can I get chunk_parse_cmds.tbl?

I am running as "vsdump dump 2003.vsd" (2003.vsd is an included example file)

Looks like the table can be gotten from the tar located here. https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/intrepid/+source/vsdump/0.0.44-2
Drop it in /usr/bin and also vsdump must be run from /usr/bin/ or it can't find the chunk_etc_etc.tbl file.
