In Ubuntu whenever i starts the guest machine(vmware), my ubuntu logoff

Hi,

I have installed vmware server 2.0 on my ubuntu 8.10 version(Full updated),then i needl redhat linux enterprise, so i created base in the vmware to accept the redhat linux os.

After creating , i tired to start my vmware redhat linux, my ubuntu itself gets logoff..

even i tired to use vmwareplayer also, when ever i starts, my base machine ubuntu gets logoff...

I formated my base machine and installed ubunutu, still i ahve issue to run a vmware ..

Please give me solution.

Try virtual Box.
http://virtualbox.org/

It should also be able to be found under "Applications>Add/ Remove..."
