I am not able to get video quality while playing with Ubunti provided player.

Just after installed the Operating System I have played one movie at that time it was played with very good quality. But after restart I am not getting such quality...Video looks like blurring.

I have tried by installing even VLC player.. It is also giving the same problem.

Can you please help me to resolve this problem.

How to check whether those codecs were properly installed or not??

Try to remove the .xine directory

Open a Terminal from the menu Applications->Accessories->Terminal and type:

rm -fr .xine
