VLC 2.0 colors wrong
I recently installed VLC 2.0 on Windows and VLC was playing videos with wrong colors. Do the maintainers have plans to do some Ubuntu Bug Tracking with this (VLC 2.0) major new version?

VLC 2.0 on Microsoft Windows XP . Issue is VLC 2.0 colors are not interpreted right. Video takes on a yellow color. Maybe videocard driver fault, but works fine on Windows Media Player. VLC Media Player 1.15 also worked fine on Windows XP.
The VLC compiled for Windows is completely different to the one for Linux. Windows has different drivers, APIs and a whole bunch of other stuff and is of zero value to your question...
If you make a new user, and log in. Is it the same?
You also have not given the output of the command I initially gave.....
lsb_release -a; uname -a; dpkg -l | grep vlc
