VLC Player

The VLC Player after an update yesterday, now has damaged your audio now he's hissing when playing any media. Here are some of the information system.

You are using the proposed repo, what do you expect???? The packages in the proposed repo are not ready and are only to be used for testing.....

I suggest you disable the proposed repo, uninstall vlc then reinstall it

You could even run:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:videolan/master-daily; sudo apt-get update; sudo apt-get -y install vlc

and you will get vlc 1.2 however this is the nightly git build, if you get issues with that then run:

sudo apt-get -y install ppa-purge; sudo ppa-purge ppa:videolan/master-daily; sudo apt-get clean

And you will go back to 1.11

Why did you enable the proposed repoitory??
