wmv files wont play in vlc or any other player

Mplayer wont open any .wmv files GNOME Mplayer opens .wmv files but few seconds later black screen with voice also cant forward GNOME Mplayer VLC wont open the wmv files instead these errors

Thank you i get the file vlc give me same error as yours.

But i can play it without any issue with:

smplayer

and with

gnome-mplayer
