upgrade 11.10 to 12.04 Virtualbox question

I have virtual box in my ubuntu 11.10. Will it be deleted if i upgrade to ubuntu 12.04?

I have observed during my earlier upgradation that lot of lot of things like skype & other software installed get deleted & we have to reinstall it after upgradation.

Is it the same with virtual box as well?

No, only the app will be upgraded. You can always backup your ~/.Virtualbox and Virtualbox VMs folder and have no worries.
