Hi,

Am trying to load a widows xp iso on my virtualbox for my notepad, its coming up with error message, say
FATAL NO BOOTABLE MEDIUM FOUND SYSTEM HALTED

Have you injected the ISO to be seen as a CD drive by VirtualBox?
Also, if you want Notepad, you could consider installing Wine under Ubuntu and running Notepad from there. It would use less resources (Especially RAM) Or, you could use gedit instead of Notepad
