How could I run windows (xp or vista) on my linux?

Asked by IL.TX

I just recently bought an iphone and it turns out I need itunes. I'm trying to get (vista or xp) so I could download itunes. I don't know mutch about linux or ubunto (if there's a difference) so I might need a turtural. I heard about dual-booting but I don't know how to do that. When I turn on my computer ubunto automaticly turns on. I have ubunto 8.1.

No Wine http://www.winehq.org/ cannot install and run Windows operative system...
Wine is for run Windows applications on a Linux operative system http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wine_%28software%29

To install and run Windows and other operative system you need to install virtualization software in your Ubuntu.

I suggest you to install virtualbox-ose package then you can create a empty virtual pc and the install Windows on it.

Hope this helps
