Cannot convert settings from version '1.5-linux'

The source version is not supported

Result code NS_ERROR_FAILURE (0x80004005)

Comment:
I just installed Linux 8.10 on dual boot system (Windows and Linux) that had 8.04LTS, The version that gave similar errors
Then installed Virtual Box
No obvious problems with that installation, yet when I try to run VirtualBox the above results

How to fix??

This problem will remain unsolved. I had to remove Linux in order to restore Windows XP which I could not boot after installing Linux 8.10

I have Windows back, will install 8.10 again and see what happens.
