what is the best virtualization software for ubuntu that has high performance and wont take up much resources?

It has been stated several times that Virtual box and VMware are inferior products. what tops these two?

 I dont care if it cost money because I wont the best of the best

Either virtualbox or VMware as you say, there is no single best any software in any OS. Each has its advantages and disadvantages. I suggest you use virtualbox as it is easy to configure.

Xen should provide better performances, but it's more business oriented and harder to configure and manage. Instead of a complete emulation of hardware, it can be linked under Linux kernel, which is "conscious" of running above Xen. Xen is less user friendly than VirtualBox or VMware (and I can't provide support on Xen).
