Windows software install problem on virtualbox

Asked by lemaire_eugene@hotmail.com

Dear sirs,

I have a desktop computer, a laptop and a netbook computer, all with the same configuration i.e. ubuntu 11.04/virtualbox 4.1.2/windows xp (SP3).

I'm trying to install a windows program and keep getting the same error message over and over with the netbook (packard bell/dot S) but not with the desktop and laptop.

The program I'm trying to install is garmin training centre, and the error message is: 'could not access the network location %ALLUSERSPROFILE%/start menu/programs/adminstrative tools'.

I've allready tried to repair windows xp with the original disk to exclude this problem.

Have you got any clou how to solve the problem on my netbook?

Eugene

I suggest you post on a Windows forum, this is Ubuntu support. The fact you are using virtualbox on Ubuntu is irrelevant ni this issue
