You need to configure the virtualbox's strage to use the CD drive of the host system as the CD drive in the virtualbox.

thats the easiest part ;)) , i'm talking about the fact that win 95 cannot be installed by some changes in virtual memory, video settings etc.. :S thats the big problem cuz i dont know those settings

Windows 95 and 98 are just GUIs for DOS. If you install DOSBox, you will be able to install it there

thx, i downloaded the software, i understood how it works. create a folder in ur pc and make it work as a virtual drive for the host of DOSbox, but how do i make it actually run the GUI of windows 95? I can run win 95 software under dosbox but is there any way to get the actual win 95 running, not the dos version? like, running a terminal in linux and then givin the command startx to get to gui mode

You will need to run dosbox and mount a folder as "C drive" then mount the installation CD as "D drive", alternatively you can copy the win98 folder from the CD to a folder then simply mount the folder as "C drive" then run the setup.exe from within dosbox (much easier plus you won't be bothered if the OS needs the windows install media as it's on your system).
