can I install windows XP on a harddrive that has ubuntu 10.10

I have a Dell Optiplex SX-280 mini tower tha has a 250 gig hard drive. Right now I only have Ubuntu 10.10 on this machine... I need to install windoiws XP to use some amateur radio software for my emergency radio gear... Can I install Windows XP??? and have a dual OS??? If so how do I go about this...

yes you can. but windoze will only allow single boot, so you'll have to fiddle with the bootloader to enable dual boot.

oh. you can run windoze inside a virtual box using the virtualbox program. but this doesn't offer dual boot.
