Install Ubuntu on entire disk and then install and run Windows 7 in a virtual pc
Asked by

I am a complete novice to Ubuntu so please stick with me. I am in the enviable position of having to do a complete reload due to a harddrive failure so want to take to opertunity to move to Ubunto but will still require Windows. So the best option seems to be load Ubunto then Virtualbox and then install and run Windows in a virtual machine sounds simple but is this the best course? I can find lots of info on the web but most about dual booting or assume Windows is the primary os with Uunto oparing on the VM. Please can somebody point me in the right direction before I take the easy option and reinstall Windows. Thank you.
