Are you able to compile in VNC server support in future versions of vbox-ose?

you can bridge the virtual network card so the virtualbox appears on your LAN, you can then use the usual VNC method as if the system was a physical PC.

Sorry, I didn't provide enough information.

The new version of VirtualBox 3.2 OSE includes a built in VNC server for remote access to the Guest OS.

In order to build this you will need to set a compile time option.

I see, i suggest you log a bug to possibly get it added. You can alays use the above method to get VNC access (as well asRDP to windows VMs) in the current system.
