a pop-up window asks me permission for controlling my desktop, it adress is 'vpn2.4net.name' , is it possible a ryan box in my own network or should i be worried?

Asked by casparvanster

My pc is on for a couple of hours, unused. I've been using an acryan playon box with my tv, which is in my home network. When i log in my pc I see this pop up window in which they ask me for permission to take over control or watch my desktop. I decline, but don't know how or where this request originates from. Should I be worried or change some settings?

If you ping the IP, does it resolve to an IP in your network?

4net is a public VPN service. Unless you know somebody who you trust on your network who uses 4net, or you yourself use 4net, deny the request. It appears to be an attempt to hack. BTW, ping works from my location.

Can you help with this problem?
