Not able to connect to another computer remotely.

Hey,

I am using the latest ubuntu 9.10 and I had been trying to connect to one of my friends computers using the remote desktop veiwer.
I have used the option as VNC as the computer that he uses is Windows XP.
Still I am not able to connect to that computer and neither he is not able to do that.
Please help me guys.

Do you have windows XP's firewall disabled?

Also, if you enable windows XP's standard RDP, you could use "Remote Desktop Viewer" under Applications -> Internet to view the XP desktop.

Can you help with this problem?
