Howto remove old bookmarks?

If I go to Bookmarks i ther menue, the 'Edit Bookmarks' and 'Remove from Bookmarks' are grayish and unable to go to.

I have vinagre (Romete Desktop Viewer) on Ubuntu 8.10

have you tried:

gksudo vinagre

then removing them.

If the info is stored in your user home it should be edittable

Can you please provide the output of:

ls -la ~/ > ~/output.txt; gedit ~/output.txt; rm ~/output.txt
