Remote access to another computer

Asked by valdezr

I want to access another computer either in my same network or in internet with the applications bundled with ubuntu (Remote desktop viewer, Terminal service client) but a can not in any way.

It is necessary to install something in the host machines to get access to them?

Go to start-> preferences -> remote desktop and make sure that the "allow others to view your desktop" box is checked, the "allow others to control your desktop" checkbox is checked. The stuff under security adds another level of protection if you want it. The advanced tab also edits things like this. and as long as your other computer is running ubuntu that is. if it is not, it becomes different.

Can you help with this problem?
