Remote access through Itouch

Is there a way you can remote access your computer through your itouch similar to Apple's back to my mac if your running ubuntu?

You can use VNC. Altough there is probably a more graceful solution, for example if you want to manage torrents then you can enable the web interface in many torrent clients. There maybe even an app which connects to it (There is transdroid for android phones which works amazingly)

Just depends what you want to achieve
