How connect using a proxy from my enterprise

I need connect to my PC Ubuntu on my home from my enterprise, but on the enterprise I have just proxy to connect the internet, please can say me how I can do thsi type of connection.

go to network management in the preference setting in ubuntu.
then select proxy server as ur setting, not direct connection (which is the default).
now enter ur proxy url or ip address in the first input field and port number in the port field.

now select use the same proxy for all protocols.(this will cause all other fields become disabled).

click on the button which says apply to the whole system.
(this may require ur admin password).

FINISH.....

N.B.:::::I don't remember exactly the things written on the dialogue. So u may have to find a little bit urself...
