exporting bookmarks in remote desktop viewer

Asked by Bud Seidel

I have a lot of bookmarks in my remote desktop viewer that I would like to be able to use on another Ubuntu system and also have in case of a system failure or upgrade. (I lost them when I had to reinstall Ubuntu)

I contacted John Wendell who maintains the vinagre module and he replied back with a link to a bug about exactly this issue. No word if there is a patch or a fix for this.

However, I just discovered that you can access the bookmarks from your /home/user/.local/share/vinagre/vinagre-bookmarks.xml for making backups if you wanted to copy them to another system.
