Connect to Mac OS X

When I connect to a Mac OS X (server) VNC I get a message along the lines of 'authentication method not supported'.

Do you know what lies at the root of this problem? Can it be overcome?

Ceck the settings on the mac. i suggest you post on a mac forum to see what is going on
