Windows disk mounted in Ubuntu only shows C: (filesystem)

Asked by gfmmoreira

Hi there. I'm trying to backup some files from my Windows disk, but when I enter Ubuntu and see the disks, my Windows disk only shows up the C: , my filesystem.
All my documents are in the D: partition, what can I do?

Thank you

Can you give the output of:

mount; sudo fdisk -l

Linux doesn't us silly constricting drive letters like windows, it allows you to mount partitions when you wish (except in /proc). We need to see the partition names and mount points of your partitions to see what you have access to and where, then mount the ones you do not have access to.

Can you help with this problem?
