Why can't I transfer my music files to my 2.0 GB Media flash drive?

I keep getting this error message There was an error copying the file into /media/Cruzer/Documents/Musicrror opening file '/media/Cruzer/Documents/Music/01 - Only The Lonely.flac': Permission denied. I've tried moving them indivdaully but I still get a error message Error while copying "01 - Only The Lonely.flac"., There was an error copying the file into /media/Cruzer/Documents/Music. Error opening file '/media/Cruzer/Documents/Music/01 - Only The Lonely.flac': Permission denied. This is show much free space I have 1.6 GB. Thanks!

Don't know exactly what the problem is but you could try the following:

1) first backup all data from the flash drive on your hard disk
2) reformat the flash drive (use "gparted", install it if you don't have it yet, ext3 is a standard partition format)
3) bring back all media from your hard disk onto the newly formatted flash drive

I tried what you said, still got the same error Error opening file '/media/Cruzer/Documents/Music/01 - Only The Lonely.flac': Permission denied.

press alt+F3, when smallbox appear, type

gksu nautilus
