How do I change the location of where system logs are kept to a partition I created?

Asked by Jon Charge on 2009-02-15

I have created a partition that I want to keep all the system logs on. The partition is mounted in fstab. How do I change location of where the logs are kept now, to the new location of where I mounted the partition. I desire to keep all logs in this new partition. Thank you in advance for your time and help.

I have actually mounted my new partition to /var/log. This worked.
