"unable to mount volume"

i just installed eeeubuntu 8.04.1 on my eee701
After i install it i cant get my "Toshiba 4gb SDHC" to read in it
It pops out a message saying "unable to mount volume" and under "Details" it says "mount: must be superuser to use mount"

This SDHC card works fine on my previous OS- windows xp
now i try ubuntu and find this problem,
Any1 can give me a hand?
