computer freezes when I try to empty the rubbish.

Asked by Ian Scott

After running 'bleach' on a 64 bit system, I deleted the folder 'bleach' created in my home folder. Now the rubbish wont empty - gives a time out error. tried running the FAQ suggestion rm -r ~/.local/share/Trash; mkdir -p ~/.local/share/Trash/info; mkdir ~/.local/share/Trash/files. Now everything freezes when I try to empty the rubbish - deleted folder still there by thye way.

Please help it's driving me nuts!! I just want to empty the rubbish (or restore the folder/files - it wont let me do that either - same timeout message.)

Ian
