system failure, not mounting dives every time

Asked by Fearless

Hi

I have a AMD8 motherboard, Gigabyte 880m USB3, Athlon II X4 640, 8g ram, 2 SATA hard drives and a pair of external USB hard drive.

Half of the time when I boot up the computer it loads all of the drives and I get no error message. the other half it fails to load any drive apart from the core drive and the following message is recieved: /usr/lib/udisks2/udiskd

I have sent the report as asked by the system monitor.

Still waiting for the problem to be solved.

Does anyone know how to solve this please?

Unfortunatley my Ubuntu guru passed away in the middle of the year and I now find myself having to learn.

Cheers

Frank

I suggest a memory test using Memtest86+ from Grub. If you see RED, the RAM or some of the RAM is bad

Can you help with this problem?
