ubuntu 12.10 can't mount other drives on computer

Upgraded to Ubuntu 12.10. Now cannot mount other drivges on computer, Error message "/addung read /ACL for uid 1000 to /media/bill failed. Operation not supported.
Everything worked fine before upgrade.

ls -la /media/bill

[sudo] password for bill:
ls: cannot access /media/bill: No such file or directory
bill@bill-GA-880GA-UD3H:~$

Mount Manager shows each of the devices with mount point "Unkown"
