Ubuntu not recognizing disk drives
Asked by
Jacqie Taylor
I do not have Windows, but I have a Windows disk that I'm trying to put on my PC. When I got my PC, it had Ubuntu. I'm a single parent of 4, and I'm trying to use my PC for additional income. Most of what I need is more compatible with windows & I don't have time to learn a new operating system.
Ubuntu is not recognizing either of my disk/cd/dvd drives. I've tried system & computer settings & also tried to download any new drivers, but nothing is working. Please help....I would greatly appreciate it.
