My Sansa e260 is Bricked and showing Blue Ring of Death.

I cannot go to Manufacturing Mode by Pressing Hold Key and Middle of the Menu (Also tried alternatives .

I have tried with the steps given at http://www.rockbox.org/ and

Tried to use ./e200tool recover c250erase.bin but no effect same, Blue Ring of Death.

I tried to recognize the USB using sleep 10 && dmesg |tail and got below

If the device is mechanically faulty then it may be hard. Can you have the device connected and run:

sudo fdisk -l; lsb_release -a; uname -a

And paste the output here

Thanks

I'm using ubuntu bootable CD so i don't think this will the correct way to detect USB

I have tried with lsusb

and I can find my USB

Its is Bus 001 Device 004: ID 0b70:0003 PortalPlayer, Inc.

This device is very-much OK I just accidentally deleted 16 MB ROM

You have to hold down the record button when you are plugging the e260 in to get it to connect. It will probably mount as /media/16MB-format

You can then copy the firmware (not ROM) to the e260.

Sandisk also provide their own firmware updater, but it is Windows only. Try following the instructions for updating the firmware here:
http://www.ehow.com/how_7509932_recover-sansa-e260.html

If you need further help, plug the device (holding the rec button) and type the command line that andrew gave you:

sudo fdisk -l; lsb_release -a; uname -a

This will give us important information such as whether or not the e260 is being recognised and what the device name is.
