Upgraded to 11.10 and sd card reader no longer works

Asked by Jure Sah

Hello,

I upgraded my 11.04 install to 11.10 (on my way to 12.04, but would like to resolve the issues I have here first) and now my SD card reader no longer functions.

The computer is a MSI Wind U100 netbook.

Any idea on where the begin?

Thanks!

LP,
Jure

Try:

echo "usb-storage" | sudo tee -a /etc/modules; modprobe usb-storage
