reports, Swap.disk check fails and skipping it , Error status 255 While Booting. Takes more than two minutes to boot

Hi all , I'm Using Ubuntu - 11.10 Installed inside Windows XP.
while Booting Ubuntu it takes Long time unusually sometimes., in the main screen it says " Waiting for network configuaration" and it says Checking swap.disk fails it may have Holes. I dont understand wats that mean. What should i do to rectify it..??!!!
FYI ., previously i tried to install Mac OSX using VM . and allocated more than 10 GB for it and after that i removed it since it did'nt work in my system. (Config : Intel Core2 Duo ., 1GB RAM, 320GB HDD).
Pls Help me...!!!

What means inside WindowsXP?

Do you virtualising it with VirtualBox or others? It is important to say this. Which version also,please.

@ melchiros : i have Two Os Installed in my PC., (1)- Windows XP , (2)- Ubuntu .
inside Ubuntu i had installed Virtual Machine (inside Ubuntu partition allocated 10Gb for that Mac OSX thing..,)..,
I think that solves ur doubt.!

well, Good news is., My Ubuntu Crashed :(
and i'm totally confused wat to do.??!!!

I am totally confused about your interpunction:)

Mmmh,

you may want to reinstall grup2 with the rescue mode on a Ubuntu install cd -> make an internet search.

This helps mostly with booting problems.

Yes, but for them you have to pay for. SUSE enterprise or RedHat Linux.

And better is relative.
