Ubuntu 11.04 fails to recognise e-Sata connected Drive

Asked by Robert A Williams

I have dual boot, Windows 7 and Edubuntu version 11.04.
I have added an external Drive by e-Sata (Raid) connection. Windows 7 recognises it, but Edubuntu does not. Any suggestions for this real newbie?

No it didn't. In fact there were so many little niggles I have removed the System and returned to Windows.

Wow that's a pretty poor effort. Oh well. Please mark as solved. You could have also explored other distros like mandriva or suse to see if they are better for you.

Can you help with this problem?
