How do I mount an NTFS HDD to Linux?

Asked by Sirmac

When I attempt to mount my HDD on Ubuntu 7.10 I get an error message:

"hal-storage-fixed-mount-all-options refused uid 1000"

How do I get around this?

Thanks.
