Asked by Sundar Ramasubramani

Sorry folks, I'm a first time user..

But I'm struggling to mount my DVDROM drive to view its contents?

I've tried several options like,
sudo mount -t isso.....
sudo mount /dev/sda /cdrom
sudo mount/dev/cdrom /cdrom

and many more like this.. But still unsuccessful... Can sumone help? I'm using Ubuntu 10.10

Thanks a ton!

If you right click on ISO file image, you should get a contextual menu, with an entry to mount DVD image.
If you insert a physical DVD, it should be mounted automatically. In this case, you have another issue. Can you check if you can read this DVD on another computer? Have a look in upper bar, in Places menu.

Can you help with this problem?
