Mount filesystem at every boot

Asked by vijay bhaskar reddy

i installed UBUNTU10.10, i left some space as unpartioned. The unpartioned space has to be mounted as file system permenetly. i used device manager to do this, this is acting as a external hard drive. Once i restart after mounting it will be unmounted. Please suggest the method to mount permenently.

Add the partition to /etc/fstab appropriately and it will mount at boot. You will need to make the mountpoint first (a mount point is an empty folder)
