unable to mount c drive

i m new to ubuntu and i m having 10.10 cd...i had a windows crash so i wanted to retrieve my data of c drive on which system was installed...i used live cd and it mounted my d: and e: drivesbut at the time of c drive when i tried to access,it is showing the following error:-
                              DBus error org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply: Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken.

what should i do???thanx alot in advance if anyone can help to get my data back...

it sounds like the hard disk failed and caused the crash. you won't be able to access data on it. you'll have to bring it to one of those data recovery services if you want to retrieve your data. but be prepared to pay an exhorbitant amount of money for their services.
