how can I make ubuntu partition visible in windows vista

I cannot view the ~57 GB ubuntu cut off my hard drive from Win Vista .. should be extremely helpful

ubuntu should be able to see your windoze partition. windoze will NOT be able to see your ubuntu partition if you formatted it to ext2, ext3, ext4.

There are ext2 and 3 readers, and experimental ext4, but these are supplied as third party tools, and may not be straightforward to use, or necessarily stable.

Windows implements very few filesystem handlers, and thus cannot read disks not created by windows systems.
