Dead USB drive

The first time it happened, not much info on it and I threw it away. But now I have much data on it. The 4 GB USB drive is not recognized by the computer. In the front of the computer it does not even light up. On the back, it does light up but no icon to click. Is there a way to revive a dead USB drive? I just keep on trying. Thanks

Try it on a different computer, different usb ports, etc... If doing any of that doesn't work, i dont think anyone on a ubuntu help forum can really help you that much.
